Ski Buddy (skibuddy.network) helps groups of friends coordinate ski days. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Your phone number, to sign you in with a texted code and, if you opt in, to send you ski alerts.
• Your display name and the crew you join.
• Your ski plans: the days you mark, your status, mountain, arrival time, rides, and notes.

Who can see it

Your name and ski plans are visible only to members of your crew. Your phone number is never shown to other users.

Text messages

We send sign-in codes when you ask for one. If you opt in to text alerts, we text you when a crew member matches with you, changes plans for a day you're considering, or takes a seat in your car. Message frequency varies, usually a few messages a week during ski season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or turn texts off in the app.

We do not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver our texts (Twilio) and run our sign-in and database (Google Firebase), solely to provide Ski Buddy.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while you use Ski Buddy. To delete your account and data, email finlayharris21@gmail.com from anywhere and include your phone number.
